Typical for Eastern Europe, carpet hangers were places where kids met and played all day long. One stood in front of my home at Podhalańska street. There was an old forest on a one side and old stone street on the other side. A hundred years old oak stood in front of my window and a tall tower of neogothic church rang a bell couple times a day.
